What do you dread most about having the exterior of your home cleaned? If you answer like most of our clients its having to clean by hand the spots on your glass, vinyl and acrylic windows after the wash.

Rainbow now offers a reliable exterior window-cleaning process that will end the dread!

Using state of the art, pure water technology, Rainbow guarantees that your exterior glass windows will be almost spot free. First we use our soft wash cleaning system to clean the complete exterior of your home. Where necessary a soft, non-abrasive brush is used to gently remove stubborn dirt and then rinsed, washing away any traces of residue. The windows are then given a final scrub and rinse with pure spot free water and left to dry. Because all minerals and impurities are filtered from the water during the purification process the results are plain to see – squeaky-clean, sparkling windows that are almost spot free. We also can use the spot free water on certain surfaces ( like stainless steel grills)  that you just don’t want any spots on which helps to give your property that cared-for, finishing touch. The reason for purifying the water is really quite simple. If you pour tap water onto a hard surface, such as glass, you will see that it leaves grey staining when it dries. The stains are NOT made by the water however, but are left when it evaporates, and are caused by solid particles such as minerals. These particles are minute, measured in Parts Per Million and normally referred to as Total Dissolved Solids. What the purification process does is remove these particles so that when the pure water evaporates no impurities are left to stain the surface being cleaned. The most effective way to purify the water is to filter it through a Reverse Osmosis De-ionizing Unit. The unit consists of two pre filters one to remove sediment down to 5 microns and the other a carbon filter to remove chemicals that have been added by the city or water softening systems this water goes to a very tight membrane which removes a high percentage of the impurities. It has 2 outlets: 1 for waste water, which carries away the removed solids, and 1 for permeated water, which now has had most of the solids removed. The final stage is to remove any remaining impurities from the permeated water. This is done by passing it through a vessel containing De-ionization Resin. Once the water has been forced through the resin it is free of all impurities and ready for use. The water quality is tested during and after the purification process to ensure it is free from all contaminants.
